Friends, I really thought I could do it all. So much in my life has changed over the last few years, but I tried to keep up my normal routine—the fast pace.
Until I couldn’t.
Even taking a few months this summer to not write blog posts and just post memes didn’t help.
I finally figured out there is just not enough of me at this moment in time to go around. Between caring for Mom, some of my own health issues, working with my publisher toward my next book, helping with the church tech stuff, grandkids, blogging, the house, the hubby. And now the holidays are upon us? Wow. I’m overwhelmed just writing out the list.
I’m cutting back this fall in several areas of my life. “A Smidgen of Hope” Tuesday posts will be one of them. I’ll still share our “Friday Fiction” posts each Friday, which is not that difficult since I have a team to help.
I plan to start the Tuesday posts back in January if all goes well. My next series of posts are going to be on perseverance. What it is. What it isn’t.
And waking up every day feeling like you’re drowning and trying to push through is not persevering. It’s just plain silly.
So, until January, please take care of yourself. Check out my Friday fiction posts.
And if you like medieval fantasy, please sign up for my monthly newsletter so I can keep you informed on the progress of my new book.
Y’all are such encouraging readers! I’ll see you soon…
