Kindness. The holidays are closing in and already I’m seeing kindness on social media. People are collecting coats, food bank items, and toys for others. Some are hosting fundraisers for sick loved ones. Thanksgiving and Christmas give many people pause to remember fellow community members and the less fortunate.

How else can we bring joy, mercy, and hope through social media? Here are a few ideas…

  • Share uplifting memes.
  • Try to post positive quotes.
  • “Like” pages for others.
  • Help an author by “liking” their page or sharing a post about one of their books.
  • Leave positive comments on someone’s post.
  • Challenge others on social media to be kind.
  • Commit to only sharing positive posts or comments for the remainder of 2019.
  • Pray for people experiencing tough times on social media.
  • Take the November 30 Days of Thankfulness challenge on Facebook or Twitter.

I’m planning to share a quote on thankfulness every day in November on social media. It’ll be a good reminder for me and others of the blessings we enjoy daily.

What about you? Do you have an idea of how to be kind on social media?
