Covid 19 has changed our world and the way we will look at life for years to come.

Instead of the tragedy, death, and chaos that has tried to take over life as we know it, I’ll choose to remember the kindness that I’ve seen:

  • First responders and the medical community giving sacrificial service. So many have given so much and dealt with difficult circumstances. Like a friend’s daughter who started working at a local urgent care a few weeks before the outbreak. And didn’t quit.
  • People on social media sharing where to find toilet paper, hand sanitizer, milk, meat, and eggs. My sister-in-law who purchased her limit of milk, then went out of the store and gave most of it away.
  • People at the stores smiling and greeting you while staying six feet away. The little old man at Walmart who ventured a little closer to hand me a tract about the Bible.
  • People in music, movies, and television, who are online reading stories to kids, giving free concerts, and sharing encouraging words.
  • Industry leaders, like authors, who are scheduling Meet Ups to help writers who are struggling with their words.
  • Pastors and musicians who are sharing inspirational messages and music on Facebook Live and other online media sources.
  • Events that are being rescheduled and not just canceled. Money being refunded.
  • Neighbors checking on neighbors and the elderly. Phone calls, cards, and e-greetings showing concern and care.
  • People shopping and going to the post office for others. Putting their own health on the line for their family and friends.
  • Schools giving drive-thru meals to students in our community.
  • And so much more!

Please share the acts of kindness you’ve seen below to encourage others. 🙂
