Jessie’s Hope will arrive in one week! I can hardly believe it. All the hard work and waiting is almost over….

I can see why some people equate getting a book published to birthing a baby. Except it takes a whole lot longer (for me, anyway) to do than nine months. I’m so glad you’ve joined me on this wild ride and I can’t wait to share the journey of my characters. Here’s a sneak peek into a couple of their conversations. 🙂

Jessie Smith and Matt Jansen

Matt: I’ve never seen a kid organize their food before.

Jessie: Well, I guess I’ve always been a bit of a perfectionist.

Matt: A bit?

Jessie: Okay, a lot. But isn’t that what you love about me?

Homer and Martha Smith

Homer: What?

Martha: Homer, we’re going to have a wedding and Jessie wants to get married at the church…That’s not going to be a problem, is it?

Homer: No, it won’t. I can go there one time to see Jessie happy. You know I’d do anything for her.

Martha: It wouldn’t hurt you to go back. It’s been ten years…
