I need to receive mercy every day. The Christian walk is not an easy path to tread. I tend to falter and stumble. Trip over my own feet, especially when it comes to my relationship with others.
More than anything, I need to learn to extend mercy to others. The do unto others as you would have them do unto you thing? I don’t always follow the Golden Rule as I ought.
But when I reach my lowest low, God, in his infinite love, hands me another dose of His mercy.
I’m filled. Refreshed. And ready to give mercy to others.
This walk is not daily for me. It’s hour upon hour.
